In October 2015, 303 MullenLowe posted six separate images, each with its own METOD configuration. These joined together under #IKEA to form "The shelves that Instagram shifted."

The challenge

Agency Mullen Lowe was tasked to launched METOD, a new customisable shelving unit by the furniture retailer. METOD is modular and can be put together countless different ways. The team wanted to create a sovcial media post that was just as flexible as METOD itself.

The solution

The ad, titled The shelves that Instagram shifted was released in the Jul 2015. The team posted six separate images, each with its own METOD configuration. These joined together under #IKEA to form a set of METOD shelves.
