Industry case studies for Digital Training Academy courses

Our training is fuelled by best practice from brands that have achieved excellence in digital marketing, digital strategy and digital media. Agencies from any country can submit case studies for the Digital Training Academy to consider.

On this page you'll find a few of the digital marketing case studies we've recently accepted and we hope you enjoy learning from them. Each represents an aspect of best practice we've found useful when teaching digital marketing, and if you're joining us for a Digital Training Academy, then ask about case studies in your sector.



Submit your digital marketing case studies

Digital Case StudiesYou can do this online through our online submission form or by email. If you'd like to submit examples of your work then email them into CaseStudies@DigitalTrainingAcademy.com and after an initial review we'll be in touch if we feel they can be used to support learning goals.

There is also an online submission tool, here: http://www.digitaltrainingacademy.com/submit. By sending us a case study you agree we can use it in training, conference speeches, book chapters and reports and other media. You need to be confident you have the necessary rights and permissions from partners or clients to be able to do this. Case studies cannot be restricted to one particular course so we can only accept material which can be used in any aspect of our training. However, if youd like us to withdraw a case study at any point, then we can do this within two weeks.

Cannes Lions case Study: How Canon convinced people to choose a camera over a smartphone »

Canon Australia and Leo Burnett Sydney were awarded a bronze at Cannes Lions 2015 with an innovative, fully integrated campaign that reminded people of photography’s unique ability to affect social change with a single image; no small challenge in an image-saturated world of smart phones and social media. This integrated campaign was all about “putting power back into the picture”.

Social mobile case study: Pepsi unites families for Chinese New Year »

To mark Chinese New year in 2015, Pepsi started a ‘Bring Happiness Home program’ calling on youngsters to spend more time thinking about their families through self-made videos. The campaign was so successful it generated more than 1.2 billion views during the festive season.

Mobile marketing case study: How Colgate spread a million smiles with its mobile campaign »

When Colgate India discovered that 47% of the total population in India had never visited a dentist, they decided to launch a nationwide oral health awareness campaign - Oral Health Month. Second screen case study: Deodorant app pits Survivor stars against viewers »

For its “Who Does More?” campaign, deodorant maker Rexona spread its tag line across multiple channels to encourage its target audience to be more active. The brand developed a second-screen experience for Turkish Survivor fans, letting users follow and compete with the contestants’ performance data, getting a turnover growth of 20% in the process.

Zespri gets kids in China to slice 18bn digital kiwis on Fruit Ninja »

Food brand Zespri wanted to create demand for its kiwis in China, where most of the population preferred drinking juice to eating cut fruit. To engage children, the brand partnered with Fruit Ninja on WeChat to create Zespri-branded kiwis. This mobile gaming case study looks at how the brand engaged 680,000 kids across the country completed the 14-Day Challenge in two months.

B2B case study: Russian Ice Cream brand woos small traders with SMS scheme »
